Heartwood 3 Month Program

Heartwood is now offering a 3 Month Program!  This is a great opportunity to experience Heartwood for an extended period of time. If you are considering our 1 Year Residency Program, this could be a way to enter into the longer term program if approved.

Participants will live within the community and have the opportunity to take part in all community activities, unless otherwise restricted by work responsibilities. Participants will be expected to engage in an average of 30 hours a week of service, attend all scheduled activities and support the community as needs arise. Participants will have the opportunity to participate in sitting meditation, walking meditation, service meditation, Dharma talks, work responsibility, teacher led retreats, practice periods, and a diverse course of study with multi-lineage teachers of Buddhism. Participants will learn and adhere to the practice trainings of a novice monastic.
